Satan is a liar and the father of lies. We hear Jesus say this about our enemy and then we promptly forget it and swallow all the lies he dishes up for us.

He feeds us half-truths or complete lies, and more often than not we don't even realize it is a lie.

One of Satan's lies is that we don't need God, we can save ourselves. We've all heard that lie and believed it at some point.

Believers don't believe this lie anymore, so Satan comes up with another one - God doesn't love you.

He uses circumstances, people and thoughts injected into our minds to try and convince us this is true.

Maybe you believe this lie. There could be any number of reasons for you to think it is true.

But God says it isn't. He says Satan is lying to you.

Romans 5:8 says: "
But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." (NLT)

God loved you when you were a sinner and didn't want to have anything to do with Him. Now you are His child, and here is the truth: He loves you just as He loves Jesus: "
...You sent Me and that You love them as much as You love Me" (John 17:23, NLT).

God also says nothing can separate you from His love: "
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?... No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:35;37-39, NLT).

Hear this truth and believe it with all your heart: God's love for you will never change. It is unconditional and everlasting.

Don't believe the lies of Satan anymore. Fix your eyes on God and believe Him. Receive and believe the love He has for you: "
So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him" (1 John 4:16, ESV).
