God Thoughts

Journal | Need prayer? | Previous thoughts | Upliftment | About me

I found the following quote while reading my Bible during my quiet time on Sunday.

I wrote it down after the last chapter of the book of John. I must have read it somewhere and found it so beautiful that I decided to write it down, but I have no idea where I read it, so I can't give anyone credit.

This is what I wrote:

True Christian life starts at: It is finished. I am complete in Christ. My sins are forgiven: past, present and future. I am the righteousness of God in Christ.

Now I can possess the peace. Receive it.

Therefore being made righteous with God, I have peace.

Therefore being justified by faith, I have peace.

I have peace with God.

After resting in the finished work of Christ and enjoying the peace with God, He asks, "After all I have done for you, is there anything in Me you see that cause you to love Me?"

I say, "Yes."

Then He asks, "Do you love Me?"

And then when I say, "Yes Lord, I love You!" then He says, "Follow Me!"
